McGuirk Wrestling Territory: Week of 12/2-12/8 1968

Here's a look at the talent roster along with SPOT ratings and FEUD scores for the week. The crew that worked central and southern Louisiana is covered separately towards the bottom of this post.

Other wrestlers advertised for shows this week but not listed in the ratings:
Blue Demon #1, Blue Demon #2, George Curtis, Manuel Perez, Pepe Perez & Red McKim

The lone newcomer to the SPOT ratings this week was Kit Fox. Kit was brought up from the lower Louisiana circuit.

Removed from the SPOT chart were Bob Griffin, El Diablo #2 and Mark Starr. Griffin moved down to the lower Louisiana circuit this week. As I've mentioned before, there is evidence to suggest that Diablo #2 was Treach Phillips. The last several weeks saw both booked 2-3 nights per week, and they were never booked on the same card (nor were they ever both booked on the same night anywhere; Diablo worked shows in the beginning of the week and Treach worked shows from Thurs-Sat). Now that Diablo is no longer advertised, Treach starts being booked throughout the week regularly. Mark Starr may have gone to the AWA, though he would return here in late January of 1969.
