Tri-State Wrestling: Week of 12/10-12/16 1979

For the week ending December 16th, 1979: The future Butch Reed debuts (as Bruce Reed) in the territory & more!

Here's a look at the talent roster along with SPOT ratings and FEUD scores for the week.

Other wrestlers advertised for shows this week but not listed in the ratings: midget wrestlers Billy the Kid, Cowboy Lang, Lone Eagle & Tiny Tom.

The lone newcomer this week was Bruce Reed (who would later be known as Butch Reed). Reed came in after working for Nick Gulas for a few weeks. He also had stints in Central States and Vancouver earlier in the year.

Removed from the SPOT chart was Tom Prichard. Tom makes at least one more appearance here later in the year as well as a handful of appearances in East Texas. It is also believed he's working for Watts at this time under the name Tom Price.
